Differnece Between Pick Up Lines And Openers

On the surface there might not seem to be that much of a difference between using a pick up line or an opener on a woman that you want to meet.

In general, men use them as both even though they might not consciously realize that there is a difference between the two.

For starters, pick up lines in their most basic form is quite simply a line you use in an attempt to hook up with a woman that you don’t know at all.

In other words, you aren’t looking to make a conversation with her you just want to have sex with her and using a pick up line is the quickest way to convey that fact.

Openers, on the other hand are just that, you are opening the line of communication with a woman and in general it allows her to either accept that or reject that offer and move on.

Now, some of you might be wondering who cares?

Let me tell you why you should care, the kind of responses that you get from women in large part are going to be based on if you decide to use a pick up line or an opener with her.

Using a pick up line on a woman with whom you simply want to get to know better is going to lead to a lot more rejection that you could have easily avoided if you had just went with an opener instead.

Of course the interesting thing about pick up lines and openers is that they are rather interchangeable based almost entirely on the non-verbal communication that you present with it.

For instance, if you approach a woman with a pick up line in a playful and non serious manner you can get away with using it as such because your body language and hopefully your non verbal communication will tell her such.

Then again, you can use an opener to communicate to a woman that you are ready to take her right now when your non verbal communication and body language are of a much more aggressive and controlling nature (which may be what you don’t want).

In the end, when it comes to approaching women that you would like to get to know better when in doubt a simple “Hello, what brings you here?”; will go a lot further than you can even begin to imagine in your mind.
