Some women use the line "I have a boyfriend" as a 'defense mechanism' - i.e. to help protect them from men who hit on them all the time. Also, this is a polite way for women to turn down the men that they don't fancy.

When she mentions her boyfriend and still talks to you, it means that she has some level of interest in you. As long as there is interest, you still stand a chance, so don't worry. Also, realize that people might not be too loyal to each other, especially in situations where liaisons could remain private.
